An inquiry into the connection between AI and humans

What Is The Big Connection Between Humans & AI?

The connection that mostly everyone who knows what AI is knows, is that AI helps humans. It's basic purpose is to help humans by making their lives easier. As we mentioned earlier on the Perspective page, AI can help us, even if we don't know it is helping us. Also, humans are the ones who code "Artificial Intelligence" at the moment. Although real AI (which doesn't exist yet) needs to think for itself, the first big step towards it has been made. According to the express.co.uk, some AI computers learned how to code themselves. How could this affect the future relationship with AI? Could this make our lives easier, like we hoped it would when we first started making AI? Or would it reduce our connection with them? They could very well become an independent species. A man-made independent species.

Our Future Connection With AI
How Do We Think It Will Look?
Our Future Connection With AI

iT will help us

Artificial already helps us, even if we didn't know it, but AI in the future, will basically be everywhere. Most of the time, we will probably be interacting with AI in the future. Also, AI is improving right now. In the future, it will probably be perfect. Artificial Intelligence will probably also be in many places that it is not in. Lots of our day in the future, might be automated. Soon, real AI may actually exist, which could even make decisions. The future of AI looks bright, but how about our future?

IT COULD RULE US

Artificial Intelligence is good and all, but what if it gets too good? If it gets too smart, it may outsmart us and we may be the assistants to robots. A theory that many people have like Elon Musk is that AI could rule the world one day because it may outsmart us. He has created many forms of AI in his Tesla cars for billions of dollars and is now spending billions of dollars to prevent AI from taking over the world. However, it's not going to happen soon. Real AI that can actually think doesn't even exist yet, let alone have intentions to take over the world. AI like Sophia by Hanson Robotics is all pre-programmed, which is why it stated it wants to take over the world, even though that was because she was pre-programmed to say that, to get attention. One thing is for sure, it got more attention than it needed.

WE MAY DEPEND ON THEM

AI is appearing in so many more places today, we might depend on AI to do some things for us in the future. We have probably even become dependent on AI already in some areas, for example, Spelling Checkers. Plus, as AI improves, we might become even more dependent on them. The people we surveyed said that humans would become more lazy because of AI, and right now, that's even true. Maybe it's a good thing, but when real AI is invented, who knows what it could do if we were fully dependent on it!

HUMANS AND AI: WORKING TOGETHER

In many companies now, AI plays a big role in them. For example, AI could be in a conveyor belt. However, human workers could work on the belt on a product. It would be such a good thing if real AI, when it comes out, and us could work together to make our world better, but will that actually happen? Now, here is what happens in most companies. The conveyor belt still uses AI, but the humans working on the belt are replaced by AI robots doing the job for much less. Lowering the operating costs lowers prices, but it also lowers the amount of demand for the product. If AI and humans worked together, the world would be better, but sadly, it seems to be more that Humans are using AI as workers instead of giving someone the money they need to stay out of poverty.

CONCLUSION : CONNECTION

AI and our connection with it has definitely changed over the past few years, but one thing hasn't changed. Humans need AI and AI need humans. Even though that might change in the future, as AI starts to recode itself and humans realize that their dream job might not exist and start a protest and not use AI, or they just try their hardest to get a job which means they probably will become lazy, right now, the connection is evident. Hopefully, as time goes on, our connection with AI will still be very evident and very strong.
